Shred-it Acquires Brink’s Document Destruction

New York, July [25], 2011 - Shred-it, the world-leading information security company providing document destruction services, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Brink’s Document Destruction ("BDD"), a division of Brink’s, Incorporated (Brink’s"). BDD operated an onsite document destruction company providing premium security-related services for a range of customers including banks, retailers, commercial and governmental customers. The acquisition applies to all of BDD’s U.S. operations, which will be transitioned to Shred-it’s existing operations in each market.
